Raw - 3rd January 2011

The first Raw of the year, started with a match! when was the last time Raw started with a match without no promo's (i don't count michael coles commentary before the intro a promo). This was a good match between Miz and Morrison i was hoping to see them go backstage, but i didn't see that likely during the match. Morrison took a lot of punishment during the match, Miz actually didn't take too much punishment. Morrison jumping off the WWE logo was impressive but it was over rated by Cole and Josh. Morrison going threw the table was good and i was shocked to see The Miz win so cleanly. WWE most likely scrapped their plans for this storyline, Morrison should have gotten his shot at the Royal Rumble. The rest of Raw was dull, CM Punks part with the Nexus wasn't too excitting, i didn't expect to see Barrett till the Rumble, he will move to Smackdown or become a face on Raw now, Raw doesn't need more heels. They need faces. The divas match was poor, the fact Eve got the pinfall and she only did one move in the whole match shows you something about the divas division. Melina and Natayla need to cut a promo on each other, the storyline doesn't make since if Melina is not talking, also get her off Twitter or be in character on Twitter, are all WWE talent not supposed to be in character on Twitter? Also the fact Melina is now teaming up with Alicia a person she fueded with back in August doesn't make much since without words. I would rather see a promo next week on Raw from Melina and then have a match on Superstars. Speaking of Superstars No Daniel Byran this week! on Raw, he (SPOILER) got pinned by Tyson Kidd on Superstars, Byran is too good for Superstars. Why the hell was Alberto Del Rio on Raw? stay on Smackdown! he cut a promo about a match he is not even going to be in at the Royal Rumble, he will beat Rey on SD and will get a shot at the World Title at Royal Rumble. R-Truth is boring. Oh The Uso's will be the next tag team champions, i will mention more on this in the future. The main event won by Randy Orton, can WWE please get Randy away from the WWE title for at least  2 months! He has nothing going for him right now and he hasn't ever since the legacy storyline. I am sick of seeing Orton get this treatment while people like Morrison have done everything possible to be a star in WWE to get beat on a Raw, Morrison went through that Ladder match and falls count anywhere match to get NOTHING. Cage matches usually bore me, but since it was a triple threat it made it more interesting, i always knew Orton was going to win it, CM Punks bit with Barrett went well and now Barrett is out of Nexus. Sheamus should now focus on the Royal Rumble he could try get a storyline going with someone like R-Truth or Mark Henry, till HHH comes back.

A Falls Count Anywhere Match, A Cage Match, A 2 out of 3 Falls Match and a Last Man Standing Match, the WWE title and the World Title both on the line on Raw and Smackdown in the one week, what is so special about this week, who are they competing with? Alberto and Edge will win tonight on Smackdown, if theres news reports saying Breaking News - Update on World Title (Spoiler) the winner of the LMS match will be Kane.
